  2. You can now upload videos from different sources:

  3. In the Title field, enter a title for the video (required).

  4. In the Description field, enter a description.

  5. In the Language field, enter a language.

  6. To be notified by email when the video(s) is ready, select the Notify checkbox.

  7. Source Name - the source (origin) of the video. The Source Name field is a dropdown that displays all the sources available to the user in the specific account. There can be one or more configured sources.

  8. The Owner field will automatically display your username i.e. the user logged in.

  9. Access Level the access level of the video. By default, the access level is set according to the access level of the selected source but can be changed per video during the upload stage described here. To learn more about access levels, see Managing video access control.

Private - the video will only be visible to the video owner (the user who uploaded the video)

Hub - the hubs in which the video will be accessible. Once this access level is selected, a new field Hubs will appear. Select one or more hub in which the video should appear.

  10. Click Upload to begin uploading, or select Advanced to view more options.

  11. In the Advanced pane, you can add additional, optional video details:

    • Upload a thumbnail file - if not uploaded, AnyClip will generate one automatically

    • Enter the video creation date. If no date is entered, the upload date will be presented.

    • Enter your organization's video ID (or any other unique ID you’d like to associate the video with)

    • Add internal notes on the video (up to 1024 characters) - plain text private notes on a video

    • Specify whether the video should be saved as Evergreen. Marking a video as such means it can be used in a Recommendation Engine without considering its age

    • Upload CC (Closed Caption) file/s. Several CC files may be uploaded albeit note one file per language is allowed.

    • Add Custom tags by clicking the Add Label and specifying your custom tags:

Note

  1. The maximum allowed size of a video upload is 5GB.

  2. Once uploaded, the video will undergo encoding and tagging. This process may take some time depending on the video's duration. You do not need to wait for video processing to complete. An email notification will be sent to you once the video processing is completed and your video is ready to be used.

Video creation and tagging

After uploading, the video will be available for search and for adding to playlists. Once the system finishes processing the video, it will be available for auto-recommendations and playback on the player.

Video is displayed in the AnyClip Studio

You can use the video to embed into online pages by clicking the embed icon (highlighted below).

Note

The video will be available for playback only once processing is completed.

Personal Settings

You can define specific rules based on various video parameters to govern how videos are handled once they are uploaded - with whom they are shared and where they appear. These settings are found on your Personal Settings page.

Multiple Uploads

It is easy to upload multiple videos. When you do this, you have the flexibility to simultaneously upload videos and navigate to other areas of the platform.

When you upload new content through the AnyClip Studio, your progress will be visible on a separate ‘upload progress dialog’ at the bottom of your screen. Should you choose to upload more content, your uploads will be stacked, so you can monitor the progression of each file. You can track the progress of all of your new content while you navigate away from your video library to work on other important tasks. Ensure the browser tab showing video upload progress remains open.
