Sharing a Video from the Studio
Updated over a week ago

Videos that have been uploaded to the AnyClip platform can be shared depending on the access level of the user and the videos' privacy settings.

To share a video from the 'Videos' Navigation:

  1. You can share a video either when the video row is closed or when it's open.

    1. When the video row is closed, the video displays a shortcut button for sharing the video icon on the top right corner.

If the settings have more than the maximum 3 icons, the embed code will instead display the three-dot (...) ellipsis menu, which will open the available options in a dropdown, and will then include a Share option.

    2. When the video row is open, the ellipsis menu automatically includes a Share option.

  2. Clicking Share displays the Share popup window, where you'll be able to either share the video according to your permissions or to change the access level.

  3. In the Share with field, enter the emails of the people with whom you'd like to share the video. You'll be able to share with others depending on your permission levels in the AnyClip platform:

    1. Private videos: Only the owner of the video will be able to share that video.

    2. Hub : All users associated with a Hub will be able to view the video.

    3. Syndication: All users that have an AnyClip account can view the video.

  4. In the Access Level pane, you can now change the access level of the video by selecting a different option from the dropdown menu (see Managing video access control for details).

You'll be able to change the access level of the video depending on your permission levels in the AnyClip platform:

    1. For private videos: Only the owner of the video will be able to change the access level.

    2. For syndication and Hub videos that don’t have an owner: Only users with the Edit Access Control permission will be able to edit the access level.

    3. For syndication and Hub videos that do have an owner (if they were previously private): Only users with the Edit Access Control permission or the owner of the video will be able to edit the access level.

  5. To complete the setup and share the video, click Done.
