Overview
Sponsored Content campaigns allow you to seamlessly integrate branded videos into your playlists or channels. Sponsored videos appear and behave just like regular content, with a subtle “Sponsored” icon and a Call-to-Action (CTA) box to highlight the sponsorship. This guide will walk you through all the steps required to set up and launch a Sponsored Content campaign using Anyclip’s Studio and Marketplace.
1. Prerequisites
Feature Access:
Sponsored Content is available only to accounts with this feature enabled. If you do not see Sponsored Content options, please contact your Anyclip representative.
2. Uploading and Tagging Sponsored Content
Step 1: Upload Your Video
Log in to Anyclip Studio.
Click Upload and select your video file(s).
Step 2: Mark as Sponsored
During the upload process mark the video as Sponsored Content, under the "Promotions" tab.
Alternatively, you can enable the Sponsored Content toggle under the "Promotions" tab in the Video Card.
Step 3: Add Sponsored Attributes
Sponsored Overlay:
Add a branded overlay to your video, which includes the Advertiser name, Primary text, Secondary text and CTA (button label). You can read more about it in "Promotions"
3. Setting Up Sponsored Campaign in the Marketplace
In the Marketplace, create a new Demand Tag and select the type as Sponsored.
Link the Demand Tag to the ID of the relevant video you uploaded in Studio and set priority.
Set up any targeting rules, budget or audience criteria as needed.
Connect the Sponsored Content demand tag to the relevant Sponsored Content supply tag which was created for you by your AM
4. Enabling Sponsored Content in Playlists or Channels
Step 1: Configure Playlist or Channel
In Studio, navigate to the Playlist or Channel where you want to include Sponsored Content.
Open the "Promotions" tab in the Playlist or Channel settings.
Step 2: Set Sponsored Content Ratio
Define how often Sponsored Content should appear (e.g., one Sponsored video after every X regular videos).
Choose the MP Supply Tag that should be serving.
Save your settings to apply the changes.
5. Launch and Monitor
Once your Sponsored Content is uploaded, tagged, and configured in both the Marketplace and your Playlist/Channel, it will be eligible to appear to viewers according to your settings.
Sponsored videos will display a “Sponsored” icon and CTA overlay during playback.
You can monitor campaign performance and engagement through Anyclip’s analytics dashboards.
