Marketplace: Metrics Glossary

Across all the Marketplace screens, you will find the following demand and Supply metrics. These metrics include percentage changes compared to the previous equivalent time frame (e.g., Today vs. same time Yesterday, Last 60 minutes vs. the 60 minutes preceding those, or Last 7 Days vs. the 7 days preceding those).

📗 Demand-Side Glossary

Ad Requests

The number of times an ad call was made to demand sources. This represents how often the system asked buyers to provide an ad.

Ad Impressions

The number of ads that were successfully delivered and displayed to users from demand-side calls.

Request Fill

Percentage of ad requests that returned a filled ad impression. Formula:
Ad Impressions ÷ Ad Requests

Ad Opportunities

The number of ad opportunities given to the specific Advertiser/Demand tag to deliver an ad following a positive bid response.

Opportunities Fill

The percentage of ad opportunities that resulted in a filled ad. Formula:
Ad Impressions ÷ Ad Opportunities

Pub Revenue

The publisher’s revenue generated directly from this advertiser/Demand tag.

Ad RPM (Revenue per Mille)

Revenue per 1,000 ad impressions served via demand tags. Formula:
(Pub Revenue ÷ Ad Impressions) × 1000

Opp eRPM (Effective Revenue per Mille per Opportunity)

Revenue per 1,000 ad opportunities, reflecting monetization efficiency even if not every opportunity was filled. Formula:
(Pub Revenue ÷ Ad Opportunities) × 1000

Req eRPM (Effective Revenue per Mille per Request)

Revenue per 1,000 ad opportunities. Formula:
(Pub Revenue ÷ Ad Requests) × 1000

Ad Clicks

The number of times users clicked on ads served via demand tags.

CTR (Click-Through Rate)

Percentage of ad impressions that resulted in a click. Formula:
Ad Clicks ÷ Ad Impressions

Completion Rate

Percentage of video ads that were watched through to completion.

Impression Viewability

Percentage of served impressions considered “viewable” (e.g., at least 50% of the ad’s pixels in view for 1+ second for display, or 2 seconds for video).


📗 Supply-Side Glossary

Player Loads

The number of times the player was loaded on a page, creating an opportunity for ads to be served.

Ad Requests

The number of times the player (or supply tag) requested an ad.

Ad Impressions

The number of ads actually served to users via supply tags.

Request Fill

Percentage of ad requests that resulted in impressions. Formula:
Ad Impressions ÷ Ad Requests

Overall Fill

The percentage of ads that were played per player load. Formula:
Ad Impressions ÷ Player Loads

Pub Revenue

Total publisher revenue generated from ads delivered on this Site/Supply tag.

Ad RPM

Revenue per 1,000 ad impressions delivered on the supply side. Formula:
(Pub Revenue ÷ Ad Impressions) × 1000

Player eRPM (Effective Revenue per Mille per Player Load)

Revenue per 1,000 player loads. This measures how much each player load is worth in effective monetization. Formula:
(Pub Revenue ÷ Player Loads) × 1000

Request Viewability

Percentage of ad requests that led to ads being viewable.

Impression Viewability

Percentage of actual ad impressions that met viewability standards.
