Follow the steps below to ensure the correct access settings for Anyclip’s API integration within your Google Ad Manager (GAM) account.
1. Enable API Access
Navigate to the Admin tab and select Global settings.
Ensure that API access is enabled.
Click Add a service account user.
2. Add Service Account User
Fill out the form using the credentials provided by Anyclip. These can be requested from the Anyclip AM/Support team.
Click Save. A confirmation message should appear indicating that the service account has been added successfully.
3. Add a Reporting User for Anyclip
Go to the Admin tab → Access & authorization, and create a new reporting user:
Email: platform-reports@anyclip.com
4. Implementation Details
Provide Anyclip with your GAM Network ID and the GAM Ad Unit ID.
5. Set Up Reporting
After all tags in the publisher’s GAM account are set up, create 2 reports. One for Today and another for Yesterday, with the following parameters:
Date range: Today/Yesterday
Dimensions: Ad unit (all levels), Date, Hour
Metrics: Total impressions, Total CPM and CPC revenue
6. Add Permissions for Anyclip
At the bottom of the report configuration page, ensure that Anyclip’s API and the platform-reports@anyclip.com user are added as editors.
7. Save and Finalize
Save reports and update the Anyclip team once everything is complete.
