Here you can generate and curate Chapters for your video.

Chapters and their descriptions will be displayed in the Watch.

Atop the list of Chapters currently available for the video there are the following control elements:

[Chapters by AI] will generate Chapters for videos longer than 3 minutes, in English, and with transcription provided by Assembly AI.

Draft status: indicates that there are some unpublished changes.

Published status: indicates that there is some published version of Chapters.

[Publish] button: click to publish the current state of Chapters in the Workbench for the end users. The end users will see this newly published version the next time they load this video.

[Unpublish] button: makes Chapters unavailable for end users. The change will be reflected the next time they open the video.

Current total number of chapters in the workspace. This includes both chapters that were added manually and chapters that were suggested by AI.

[+ Chapter] button: add chapters manually. To add a chapter, provide the start timestamp for this chapter and a name. You can also enter an optional chapter description. Chapter names and descriptions will be displayed for the end users.

Adding a new chapter automatically inserts it in the correct chronological order within the list. The start time for each chapter after the first one is considered the end time for the previous chapter.

Click on the chapter timestamp to jump to that position in the player.

Hover on any chapter to edit it further or delete.
