Overview
Generative AI Search (Gen AI Search) in Watch extends existing Video Search in Watch functionality providing videos and answering the user questions in the query string.
The Gen AI Search generates relevant responses based exclusively on the video content available to the user and lists the videos it is referencing in the response right alongside.
The Gen AI Search results appear above the regular search results as a block with a results description or an answer to the question, and a set of videos organized as a video carousel.
Note
As Gen AI Search depends on the videos available to the user, it might not find any relevant videos to show. The block disappears in such a case right after the response is received.
Configuration
Users can enable Gen AI Search for their watch in Watch Settings.
