Description
In certain scenarios, when an event starts late, ends early, or for any unexpected reasons during the course of the event, there may be a need to replace or interrupt a live stream. The "Force Poster" feature provides users with the capability to seamlessly display a poster image in place of the live stream to address such situations.
How It Works
Toggle ON Force Poster: To activate this feature, the user simply needs to toggle the "Force Poster" setting to ON.
Select Poster Image: Once the "Force Poster" toggle is enabled, the administrator can choose from two available options for the poster image to be displayed:
Same as Pre-Event: Select this option if you want to show a pre-event poster image.
Same as Post-Event: Choose this option if you prefer to display a post-event poster image.
Automatic Application: After making these selections, the chosen poster will be automatically applied and displayed on users' players within a minute of the change. There is no need for the administrator to manually save the live event; Force Poster settings are saved and applied automatically.
