Customer User Roles

A role is a collection of permissions that allows users to perform specific actions on the AnyClip Platform. The current section lists roles available for AnyClip customers and the associated functionality available for each role.

Account Admin

  • Video management of account-specific videos: search, create, update, deactivate, and view video performance data

  • Setup of all entities: users, players, playlists, watches*, live events*, video distribution* (enabling video targeting and sharing), forms*, X-Ray campaigns*, sharing videos internally/externally* i.e. collaboration, manage Single Sign-on (SSO) access*.

  • Videos in Watches: commenting, deep search, highlights, slides (creating/editing), and sharing videos internally and externally.

  • All analytics dashboards

Account Supervisor

Same as Account Admin. Deprecated.

Editor

  • Video management for account videos: search, create, update, publish, and deactivate videos

  • Setup the following account entities: players, playlists, Watches*, video distribution*

  • Videos in Watches: commenting, deep search, highlights (creating/editing), slides (creating/editing), sharing videos internally and externally.

  • Video Performance Dashboard view

Contributor

  • Video management of contributor's own videos: search, create, update, publish*, and deactivate videos

  • Videos in Watches: commenting, deep search, highlights, slides, and sharing videos internally and externally.

Viewer

  • Watch pane only. Videos in Watches: commenting, deep search, highlights (view), slides (view) and sharing videos internally and externally.

Data Analyst

  • Analytics pane only. Ad Performance, Video Performance, Monetization, Custom Reports* and others.

API

  • Video management: creating/updating/deactivating), video search, deep search

  • User Management*

  • Playlist management*
