Managing Players - Overview

AnyClip enables you to create your own players and to update them according to your needs. The ability to create and update players is self-serve, which means that you have full control of your players and their look-and-feel.

AnyClip supports four types of players; Intelligent, Intelligent -AMP, Stories, and Stories-AMP.

Viewing Available Players

  1. Click the Player tab to display the list of players.

  2. All types of configured players are displayed automatically in the list. To display only a specific type of player, click the All Types button and from the dropdown list, select the type of player to display.

  3. You can also search a specific player by Name or ID or filter on specific Hub.

Adding a New Player

  1. Click the "+ Player" sign to open the dropdown list of player types.

  2. From the list, select the type of player you wish to add and then follow the steps for creating and managing a player

Editing Existing Players

  1. In the Player list, click on the name of the player that you would like to edit. This opens the player's information in edit mode.

  2. Make the required changes and click Save.

Duplicating Players

  1. In the Player list, mouse over the player you wish to duplicate and click on the Duplicate symbol. This opens the Create Player window with the settings of the original player as a default.

  2. Update the settings relevant for the newly created player and click Save.

Embedding a Player

  1. In the Player list, mouse over the relevant player and click on the Embed symbol.

  2. This opens the Player Embed Code window.

  3. Select the relevant aspect ratio from the ratio dropdown list, and click Copy.

  4. Add the embed code to the required location. You can read more about the Embed code implementation Guide and support parameters here.

Deleting a Player

  1. In the Player list, mouse over the relevant player and click on the Delete symbol.

  2. Click on "Delete" in the dialog that is opened

Warning

Deletion of a player is permanent. Once deleted, the player will no longer be available in the Players table or eligible to serve.
