SSO

One less password to remember! Last month, we announced the launch of our SSO with Google’s Identity Provider Service. This month, we’re announcing additional third-party authentication services such as Microsoft Azure and Okta. With both services, existing users can now log in to AnyClip with SSO using their email, no additional passwords are necessary. Additionally, admins can choose to allow new users in their organization to log in using the SSO authentication, which automatically creates a new AnyClip ‘Contributor’ user.

Video Share Rules and Permissions

Zoom call recordings are set to ‘private' by default. Previously you had to manually select who to share your videos with, but you might have forgotten to do so during your busy day. Now you’re bombarded by your colleagues asking to share your last meeting recording. We now have a solution for you! Now, you can easily set overarching rules and permissions for your ‘owned’ videos—by source type, video name, label, or all of ‘my videos’—then decide which hubs or individuals those videos should always be shared to.

Here is how to set your video’s rules and permissions.

  1. Go to your user icon and select ‘Personal Settings'.

  2. Select the ‘Create New Rule’ button in the upper right corner—this will create a line item where you can set your video's rules and permissions.

  3. Need to narrow things down? By clicking the ‘Create New Rule’ button again, create additional line items to set/customize additional rules and permissions.

Available Rules and Permissions include:

Which type(s) of videos would you like this rule to apply to?

  • All my videos

  • Video with words in the title (option to add custom words: i.e., “All Hands”)

  • Video with labels (option to add custom labels: i.e., “Sandra Gibson”)

  • From source (select source from the dropdown: i.e., “Zoom”)

Choose any one option, or combine multiple options to refine your video selection rule.

Who would you like to share your video with?

  • A specific list of people, manually inputted

  • Everyone who is a member of a specific Hub

Choose one option, or combine multiple options to expand your list of people who will receive the video. Once the rules and permissions are set, members who the video(s) were shared with will receive an email to their inbox.

This feature is available to admins, editors, and contributors of the platform.

Share from Timestamp

Do you want your social audiences to watch a video starting at a specific moment? Using the new Share from Timestamp capability, you can do exactly that. Simply select the share icon at the bottom of the player and input the exact timestamp that you would like the video to start at for your viewers. Then select the social icon of the platform(s) to which you would like to share the content and scale your brand message—with a click of a button.

All videos that are sharable on social media now automatically have the Share from Timestamp option available. If you want to make a video shareable on social media, follow these steps:

  1. Go into any particular ‘Watch’ on the navigation bar.

  2. Select ‘Look and Feel’.

  3. Turn on the ‘Sharing’ and ‘Post to social’ options.

  4. Now that your video is shareable, it will automatically have a pop-up of the timestamp share.

Highlights Available in German

‘Highlights ’is now available for German-language videos as well as English! Once your German language videos are uploaded onto the platform (onto a source that has Highlights activated), our AI identifies the most important sentences in the video and creates a consolidated highlights reel. The highlighted sentences are indicated on the progress bar of the German language video. Simply turn on the ‘play highlights’ toggle on the player and automatically skim through the selected moments and instantly get caught up on those important meetings and events in minutes!

  • Activating Highlights for your videos. Video Highlights are not automatically activated for every video uploaded onto the AnyClip platform. In order to create Highlights for your videos, the platform Admin must activate ‘Highlights’ for the video source.

    • First, turn on Highlights for the desired Source. (For example, you may want to activate Highlights for your company’s Zoom Source.)

    • Make sure that you upload a video that you would like to highlight to a Source with Highlights enabled. (In our example, if you have configured your Zoom Source to upload videos automatically, you will not have to do anything else to make it possible to create Highlights for Zoom recordings.)

    • Click the ‘Highlights’ toggle button on the video player to reveal the Highlights created for your video.

  • Manual curation of Highlights Not fully satisfied with what the AI has created for you? You can also manually edit your Highlights. Add additional sentences or remove unwanted ones by simply adjusting the selections in yellow on the ‘Highlights’ tab alongside the video. *Please note, that currently, only the video’s owner will have access to this capability.

Highlight Video Length. Currently, Videos must be a minimum of 30 mins and a maximum of 120 minutes in length to be eligible for Highlights.
