Setting up Publishing Destinations
When you set up YouTube as your publishing destination, you're connecting AnyClip to your YouTube account.
Click Account > Publish Destinations.
This opens a list of media platforms where you can publish the videos. The list of platforms can be filtered by Platforms, Statuses (Enabled, Disabled, Disconnected), and Hub s (for Admin and Ad-ops users).
Click Add and from the dropdown list, select YouTube. This opens the Destinations Details window.
In this window, set up the following information.
Grant access to the AnyClip Platform to manage your YouTube videos by signing into the Authorization field with your YouTube credentials.
Next, enter a Display Name (required), which appears when you select a publish destination to upload video.
From the Visibility Setting dropdown, select Public, Private, or Unlisted. This specifies video's visibility in the channel.
From the Status dropdown, select the current status of the channel: Enabled (default) or Disabled.
From the Channel dropdown list, select a YouTube channel (if there are multiple ones).
Finally, in the Publish Settings field, select which video attributes to apply to the video in the YouTube channel: Category, Thumbnail, Description, Language, Manual Tags, Automatic Tags, and Closed Captions.
When done, click Save.
Note
Any video that is published to a channel will automatically update the field number of published videos in Admin/Publish destination for the relevant account (each video will be added once to any account/line).
Publishing Videos to a YouTube Channel
After you've configured at least one publishing destination, a Hub editor (or Hub admin or Hub system admin) can publish videos to the YouTube channel through the Publish screen, which is opened through the Video menu.
In the AnyClip Studio, locate the video you're distributing to YouTube. Click the ellipsis (...) menu to open the menu options and then select Publish.
This opens the Publish window.
The Publish settings are applied to all selected publish destinations for the video being published. Use the slider to turn on or off each setting.
The Publish window contains a list of publish destinations that have been configured for the Hub. Each destination can be selected or not depending on whether the Hub publishes videos in that destination. Use the slider to sync each channel.
When ready, click Publish.
Go back to the video in the AnyClip Studio, click the ellipsis (...) menu to open the menu options, and then select Video Information.
The Video Information under the video will now show a new tab called Publish.
Click the Publish tab to display the information on the channel where the video has been published.
To edit the information for videos and locate the video you are distributing to YouTube, click the ellipsis (...) menu to open the menu options, and then select Publish.
Advanced Settings
The Publish function also provides the option to customize the settings using the Advanced function.
Click the gear icon next to the platform to which you wish to add advanced options.
This opens the Advanced window.
Set the publish settings you wish to add to the platform, such as category, manual tags, etc. by sliding the slider.
When done, click Save.
Synching Video Information in the Channel
Using the sync option enables you to verify that your video's attributes remain current while published to YouTube.
Enable the sync slider for each channel where the video is published, so that any update made to the video attributes (i.e., thumbnail, video tags, title, description) in the AnyClip Studio will be updated automatically to the synced video on YouTube. It is possible to change the setting of specific attributes to be synced (or not) in the Advanced Setting.
Editing Video Information
To edit the configuration for videos being published and locate the video you are distributing to YouTube, click the ellipsis (...) menu to open the menu options, and then select Video Information under the Publish tab .
For each line, click the edit icon and edit one of the following: Visibility, Sync, or Advanced settings. When done, click the V icon.
Removing Videos
To remove a video from the channel, click the remove icon next to the video.
To remove multiple videos using bulk removal, select the relevant video titles and then click the remove icon at the top of the table.
Note
To use the Publish feature and its full capabilities, the Publish option must be enabled in Hub Configuration. Once enabled for a specific Hub, the Publish feature cannot be disabled.
When the Publish option is enabled, the AnyClip Platform will include an additional menu item called Publish Destination, which enables Hubs (Hub system admins or Hub admins) to set up publishing destinations for their videos.
