Microsoft Stream is a video storage, sharing, and collaboration platform. Setting up an MS Stream source in the AnyClip Platform will automatically upload MS Stream videos to AnyClip.

Set up an MS Stream Source

Log in to the AnyClip Platform as an Account Administrator user and proceed as follows:

  1. Click Account > Sources. This displays the list of sources that have been set.

  2. Select the +Source button and choose MS Stream. The MS Stream Source dialogue appears:

  3. Set the Auto Import toggle. Turning this toggle on means videos from the MS Stream user will automatically be imported to AnyClip

  4. Enter the proper information in the fields shown as follows:

    1. Display Name (required)- the MS Teams source name

    2. Username (required): username of the MS Stream account

    3. Password (required): password of the MS Stream account

    4. Channel ID (required) - the ID of the specific MS Stream channel. The channel ID can be obtained by accessing your current MS Stream channel and copying the channel URL as it appears in your browser e,g, https://web.microsoftstream.com/channel/44734ace-13d0-43e2-9abe-968c7c7f735c)

    5. Language - the language of the videos in the MS Stream channel. This will be used to create a transcription for the imported videos automatically.

    6. Access Level - Hub or Private. If Hub is selected, choose the hubs. If Private is selected, select the video owner.

    7. Video Owner -The user who will be the owner of the videos imported from the MS Stream channel

  5. Once the field information has been filled in, click Save. The new MS Stream source will appear in the Source list:

  6. To edit the details of the source, click on the source line or hover with the cursor on the rightmost corner of the source. A πŸ–‹ icon will appear. Click on it to edit.
