Overview

Watch is a video hub layout designed to host video-on-demand content while enabling media publishers, businesses, and event organizers to seamlessly integrate customized videos into their websites and align them with their brand identity.

Watch is built around four core page types:

  1. Main Page: Serves as the central hub, displaying all available watch channels.

  2. Search Results Page: Provides a list of videos based on user search queries.

  3. Player Page: Dedicated to video playback, offering an immersive viewing experience.

  4. Channel Page: Showcases videos within a single, dedicated channel.

All aspects of Watch and its individual pages are fully configurable through the AnyClip Studio platform, allowing complete customization to fit user needs.

The images below illustrate the various sections of the Watch feature as seen on the AnyClip demo platform (https://demo.anyclip.com) on December 23, 2024.

Main Page

The Main Page serves as the central hub, displaying all available watch channels in a visually organized layout. The channels here are US Elections, Bloomberg Shorts, Latest Euronews Videos, Bloomberg etc.

Search Results Page

The Search Results Page of the Watch displays videos based on the user's query string (e.g., 'Elon Musk'). It also highlights where the query string or its components were found within the video metadata, such as People, Brands, Transcript, and other metadata categories. This functionality allows users to quickly locate relevant content by providing context-specific results, enhancing the search experience.

Search Results Page

The Channel Page presents all videos belonging to a specific channel on a dedicated page. This layout allows users to explore and navigate through the channel’s entire video library in an organized and focused manner.

Player Page

The Player Page serves as the core page of the Watch feature, dedicated to video playback with an integrated video player. Additionally, it highlights the timestamps within the video where elements of the user's search query string were found (e.g., in the transcript, metadata, or other relevant contexts). This functionality enables users to navigate directly to specific moments in the video where their search terms occur, enhancing the precision and usability of the playback experience.
