Customizing Watch Appearance

After setting up the Basic Details of a Watch, users can customize various aspects of its appearance to align with their website or brand. Whether you want to run videos on a transparent background or modify the color of the search bar, the AnyClip Platform offers a wide range of options. Once customization is complete, the Watch can be embedded on your website seamlessly.

Customization Options

The customization options are divided into two main tabs:

  • Look and Feel

  • Search Look and Feel


Look and Feel Customization

Look and Feel tab contains watch attributes related to Main and Player pages appearances, and also the default values for the Channel pages that will be created later.

  1. Main Page

    In the Main Page section, configure the following properties:

    • Appearance: Select a style from the dropdown list.

    • Font Family: Choose a font from the dropdown list (refer to Watch Font Family for details).

    • Font Size (default: 14px): Select a size from the dropdown list.

    • Font Color: Pick a color from the palette.

    • Background:

    • Search Bar Background: Choose a color from the palette.

    • Dock to Header: Decide whether the video player should remain visible while scrolling on mobile devices.

    • Header Offset (Pixels): Define the offset area from the top of the page (for mobile devices).

    • Footer Offset (Pixels): Define the offset area from the bottom of the page (for mobile devices).

  2. Channel Defaults
    The section configures default parameters for the watch channels when they are being created.

    The following properties of the watch channels could be configured here:

    • Set the font size and color for the following channel properties:

      • Title

      • Description

      • Video Title

      • Video Information

    • For color settings, use the arrow to either pick a color or specify it using RGBA, HEX, or HSLA values.

  3. Customization Settings

    • Enable or disable engagement controls (Views, Likes, Shares) for the Watch.

    • Configure whether the Player Page appears as a dialog window over the Watch.


Search Look and Feel Customization

Search Look and Feel tab contains watch attributes related to Video Search page appearance.

  1. Search Results Customization

    • Adjust the look and feel of the following properties:

      • Search Results Title

      • Video Title

      • Video Information

  2. Search Color Settings

    • Select the arrow to pick a color or specify it using RGBA, HEX, or HSLA formats.

  3. Search Placeholder Text

    • Define placeholder text for desktop devices.

  4. Search Button Caption

    • Set the caption text for mobile devices.

  5. Save Your Customization

    • Once all settings are configured, click Save to apply your changes.

Important

Look & Feel and Search Look & Feel tabs are only relevant for Watches that are embedded in publishers' websites (Environment attribute is "External" or "Internal and External").

These pages attributes are not applied to the watches that hosted inside AnyClip Platform environment for the business customers.
