The Anyclip Platform allows users to record videos of their desktop screen(s) or of live scenes unfolding before their web camera. Once the recording is finished, the videos are automatically uploaded to the platform, analyzed by AnyClip''s AI algorithms, and stored along with the other videos.
The process is straightforward. From AnyClip's video library, users choose the "Click to Record" button:
The Select Recording Source screen appears:
Here users select either Desktop or Web Camera to record any visual scene on their desktop screen or before their web camera respectively. Users can also choose whether or not to record audio using their microphone when recording a screen or a live event with their web camera.
Clicking the wheel icon on the bottom left side of the screen opens the Settings dialogue where users can choose the relevant audio input (microphone) and web camera connected to their device:
Recording the Desktop Screen
When Desktop is chosen as a video source, and assuming the user has several desktops configured on the device, he/she must choose one of the desktops:
Once a screen is selected it is displayed in the Video Preview dialogue:
Clicking the Start button to begin recording leads the user to the Videos library where the Recording indicator at the top right of the screen informs the user the recording is ongoing.:
When the user wishes to pause/resume/stop the recording, he/she must click the Recording indicator shown above. The resulting dialogue panel appears:
Once the recording is stopped the video is uploaded to the platform for analysis and storage:
Recording Events using the Web Camera
To create a recording using the web camera users choose Web Camera in the Select Recording Source screen:
If users have several web cameras and or microphones connected to their device and need to choose one, they click the wheel icon at the bottom left side of the screen above to access the Settings panel and choose the relevant camera and or microphone.
Once the source is chosen and the Next button is chosen, the Video Preview screen appears which shows the live scene as captured by the web camera:
When the Start button is clicked the recording phase begins. Users can choose to pause/resume or stop the recording.
Once the recording is stopped, the resulting video is uploaded, analyzed and stored on the platform.
