Videos can be shared from a watch with other AnyClip Platform users and with users outside of AnyClip.
Share a video with AnyClip platform users
To share a video:
In the Watch, click the Share icon under the video. This opens the Share window.
In the Share window, you can set the following options:
An option to share a specific section of the video: select the option Start video at to send the link with a specific start time.
A Copy button to simply share the URL link of the video.
Optional: In the Comment field, you can enter a comment for the recipient of the share invite.
When you've added the viewers with whom you'd like to share the video, click Share.
The video will be shared with the recipient(s) via email, containing the link to the video and the optional comment. The shared video will also appear in the recipients' Shared with me channel inside the Watch.
Share a video with users outside AnyClip platform
Sometimes AnyClip platform users need to share their videos with external users, who don't have an account on the platform.
To share a video with such users:
In the Watch, click the Share icon under the video. This opens the Share dialog.
Switch to the tab With a guest.
Enter the recipients emails and (optional) message.
Click Share button.
The video will be shared with the recipient(s) via email, containing the link to the video and the optional comment. To gain access to the shared video, recipients will need to complete a short and straightforward platform authentication procedure.
The option is allowed to users, whose account is appropriately configured.
Note
If a video is private, only the video owner can share it and only the viewers with whom the video was shared can view it.
