The trim video feature allows you to shorten a video to a desired duration. You can then save the newly-trimmed video and share it with other members of your team.
To trim the video:
In Manage Videos, select the video you'd like to trim and open that video.
Click the ... (ellipsis menu) icon and select Edit Video. This opens the Edit Video window.
Select the Start and End settings for the section you'd like to create of the video, or use the trim sliders for the start and the end to cut and trim your video to the desired length by dragging the trim sliders to the desired section.
Click Save to save the video. The video will be saved as a new version. You can change the name of the video and keep sharing options that were connected to the original videos (i.e., anyone you shared the original video will be able to view the trimmed one).
Note
Analytic data from the original video will reset for the trimmed video.
If you want to re-trim a video, open the original video to trim.
Sharing Your Trimmed Videos
Once your trimmed video is ready, you can keep sharing options from the original video or share with new people.
To keep the sharing options, simply select the checkbox Keep Sharing Options.
If you choose to share with new people, add them to the list, and they will be notified.
