Feature: Video Bulk Actions
AnyClip Studio now supports bulk actions, allowing users to manage multiple videos simultaneously. This feature streamlines video organization, reducing manual effort and increasing efficiency.
Flow
Users can select multiple videos and apply a bulk action in a few simple steps:
Enable Selection Mode – Click the Multiple Select button to activate video selection mode.
Select Videos – Checkboxes appear on video cards, allowing users to select the videos they want to process.
Choose & Configure Bulk Action – Select the desired action from the Bulk Action Toolbar and configure necessary options.
Execute the Action – The bulk process applies only to videos where the user has edit access; others will be skipped.
Available Bulk Actions
Archive Videos – Moves selected videos to the Archive state, removing them from Studio, Watches, and Players.
Add Tags – Adds multiple tags to selected videos for improved categorization.
Replace Tags – Replaces an existing tag with one or more new tags.
The user selects:
The tag to be replaced (Find attribute).
The new tag(s) to replace it (Replace attribute).
Delete Tags – Removes a tag from selected videos by leaving the Replace field empty in the Replace Tags dialog.
Find and Replace Hubs – Changes the list of hubs with which the video is shared. See details below in the section Find and Replace Hubs.
Scope & Permissions
Users can select any videos, but only those with edit access will be processed.
Videos without edit permissions will be skipped automatically.
The picture below illustrates the result of a bulk action that successfully processed 3 videos and skipped 1 video.
This feature simplifies bulk video management, enabling users to make large-scale modifications quickly and efficiently. Future updates will introduce additional bulk actions to further enhance usability and flexibility.
Find and Replace Hubs
The Find and Replace Hub action allows users to modify hub-sharing settings for multiple videos at once. This enables updating the list of hubs a video is shared with in a streamlined and consistent manner.
For example, if several videos are currently shared with the Product hub but should instead be shared with the Operations hub, the user can select Product in the Find what field and Operations in the Replace with field. As a result, in all selected videos, the Product hub will be replaced by the Operations hub.
If the Replace with field is left empty, the specified hub in the Find what field will simply be removed from the sharing list. If a video is shared only with that hub, removing it will make the video private.
